Amboy Bank Property – Pennsauken, NJ
Amboy Bank acquired property located in Pennsauken through foreclosure and found that there was an open NJDEP case for a former leaking underground storage tank (UST). The prior owner did not complete all of the regulatory requirements. Amboy Bank needed to get the site back into compliance and available for sale quickly.
JMS reviewed the historical documents, collected confirmatory soil and groundwater samples and concluded that the previously conducted remedial activities were acceptable. JMS brought the site into compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and issued an Unrestricted Use Remedial Action Outcome (RAO) closure letter for this environmental concern.
