Summer 2021 marks the thirty-fifth anniversary for JM Sorge. Although our technology, project list, and hairstyles have evolved over the last 35 years, we still pride ourselves in developing smart, science-based solutions for complex environmental problems.
JMS works on projects throughout the United States, but we specialize in our deep understanding of the ever-changing regulatory environment in our home state of New Jersey. This year we compiled thirty-five years of project data to create a dynamic web map showing the range of our project base in New Jersey. We have aggregated private site data to show our broad experience throughout geographic areas in New Jersey. Check out this map:

A more detailed internal database allows us to quickly see which projects we have performed nearby and reference regional geologic and hydrogeologic data to benefit each of our clients.
Another theme throughout JMS’ history is our eagerness to embrace new technology. From field equipment, database software, and GIS mapping tools, we are always learning something new. We are diving deeper into ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Field Maps, and ArcGIS Pro, the cutting edge of geospatial technology. These tools allow us to collect data in the field and visualize it in the office in real-time, create an interactive web maps, and improve efficiency. Stay tuned for more JMS news and mapping updates!
