On October 8th, 2015, JM Sorge attended and sponsored the Hackensack Riverkeeper’s Annual Awards Dinner and Sustainable Seafood Feast. Hackensack Riverkeeper is an advocacy group that provides representation for the natural living resources of the Hackensack River. This year’s awards celebration included more than 300 people in attendance.
Each year Hackensack Riverkeeper honors individuals and organizations whose work helps protect, preserve and restore the river. This year’s honorees are Westwood Mayor John Birkner for Excellence in Public Service, Donald Nuckel for Excellence in Philanthropy, and the XChange at Secaucus Junction received a corporate Environmental Stewardship Award.
On October 21st, 2015, James Vander Vliet, PE, LSRP, Senior Manager at JMS Sorge, Inc. presented a discussion of Response Action Outcomes and the Potential Long Term Implications at the Passaic County Brownfields Commission. Topics discussed included:
