JM Sorge LSRP part of new stakeholder committee to update NJDEP guidance

Posted on October 4th, 2012

The NJDEP is in the process of preparing new guidance on several topics to assist responsible parties and NJ LSRPs in conducting investigation/remediation that will be protective of human health and the environment. NJDEP chose committee members with strong qualifications to create committees with a good mix of different perspectives, backgrounds and experience.

Joseph Sorge, President of JMS and an LSRP, was selected to be a member of the committee that will update the Historic Pesticide guidance.  Mr. Sorge is uniquely qualified for this committee because of his status as an experienced environmental consultant (25+ years) with a history of developing creative solutions for pesticide remediation projects and his experience growing up on, and operating, the family farm business.  Others on the committee are several environmental and engineering consultants, NJDEP staff, a chemical company, and a commercial real estate and environmental attorney.
